I feel the pinch every time I go to my local Walmart. The same 5-dozen flat of eggs I used to pay $6.90 for now costs me between $18 and $20, depending on the stock. According to a report by Cornell University, a gallon of milk that used to cost $2.79 is now $4.36 on average.
I’m going to share a few ways I have found to combat the high cost of food and grocery shopping in general. Some of you may already use some of these to save, and if you do, please share any tips that you have found helpful.
